Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing - pistachio salmon especially. Feels like a special event. Ambiance was like a nice business lunch in New York..been a while but you get what I mean. Never had a bad meal at the Downtowner. The food is always excellent, whether you order one of their steaks, pasta, pizza, or anything else, and the prices are very reasonable. The wait staff are kind, efficient, and very helpful. It's a great place to go before a hockey game at the Xcel, or just for a good meal.

Amazingly delicious pizza, unusual, and some traditional. Especially loved the Korean barbecue short rib pizza. Service was above and beyond with Harriet, our server. I cannotsay enough about this great, fun restaurant.
