- TTomVIPNew York City •230 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA visit to Palm Springs on Christmas means a dinner at Tropicale where you can count on creative cuisine, excellent service, a vibrant atmosphere. We shared the Korean Steak Skewers, that were perfectly cooked. The Steamed Edamame always hits the spot. The tasty Veggie Pizza was loaded with an assortment of vegetables topped with goat cheese. The Carmel Tart was a great ending to a fine meal. Thank you Kai for your suggestions and attentiveness! We will be back!More infoThe TropicalePrice: Expensive• Californian• Palm Springs•4.7

There set 3 course Xmas dinner had many choices. We loved our Blood Orange martini and Bourbon egg nog cocktails! Thank you Beth for making things so festive! Starters of divine shrimp salad cocktail that I will go back for and a savory potato leek soup with crabmeat and pumpernickel croutons. Amazing veal schnitzel with all the fixings and stunning half roast duck with cherries and braised red cabbage. Bread pudding and profiteroles for dessert.More infoJohannesPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Palm Springs•4.7

They also called on the front end to verify we wanted brunch and not the prie fixe Christmas Day menu. We had a wonderful time and always do. Friendly, efficient service without being intrusive. Never felt rushed. Holiday pri fix menu with varied choices. We all loved the selections from appetizer through dessert. Asked server for suggestion on where to see Xmas lights and her suggestion of Candy Cane Lane in Cathedral City was spot on.More info4 SaintsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Palm Springs•4.5

Clearly the kitchen staff is amazing. Loved the tuna tacos, Caesar salad and lamb t-bone. Normally I don’t order dessert but I highly recommend the sticky pudding. Bottom line this is a 5* hands down.More infoCopley's on Palm CanyonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Palm Springs
