Established in 1855, the Six Mile Pub is the Oldest Pub in BC. This beautiful property is located on the bank of Millstream which flows into Esquimalt Harbour. Centrally located within the Westshore of Victoria, next to the Galloping Goose Regional Bicycle Trail and the arterial Island Highway, the Six Mile Pub has served generations of local Victorians. The large menu features made-from-scratch Pastas, Breads and Desserts. Ingredients are sourced responsibly and thoughtfully and include herbs and vegetables from her own Culinary Garden and Apiary as well as meats and vegetables from neighbouring farms. Because menu items are prepared on-site with whole ingredients, the Culinary team is able to adapt recipes easily to accommodate special dietary needs while the menu already features Gluten Free and Vegan Options. The Bar features 22 craft-brewed ales and lagers from local, artisan breweries, including a House Lager and Pale Ale sourced from Russell Brewing Company, based in Surrey, BC.

The Keg remains one of our favorited eateries. Our recent visit did not disappoint: Service was friendly and helpful. We always have very good and well prepared food and beverages.

Sunday brunch was excellent. Lots of gluten free options if required. I recommend this place for brunch. I haven’t experienced it at other times.

We felt so special. The service was impeccable, the music just the right volume, the food was delicious. The tables are set so nicely apart so you don't have a neighbor within elbow touching distance. It had nice soft furnishings so the room wasn't echo-ey and sharp sounding. It was a perfect experience.

One needs to appreciate that this dining room is used as a de facto training centre for the college's hospitality and culinary arts programs so the students who wait the tables are understandably nervous as they practice their skills and learn their trade. Keeping this in mind brings context to the food and service.
