New residents to Georgia and heard great things about this restaurant and their Christmas display and did not disappoint. Great service, great Christmas energy, and large portions which make the pricing completely understandable.

From the moment I stepped into Chops & Lobster Bar, I knew my family and I were in for a treat. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and thoughtful décor that invites you to settle in and savor the experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server (Earl) was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring every dish complemented the next. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every plate was a masterpiece. The Porterhouse Lamb Chops was a revelation, with its perfectly balanced flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Hong Kong Sea Bass, a house specialty, was an explosion of taste that left me wanting more. Even the side dishes and desserts were crafted with care and attention to detail. You must try the Mediterranean Octopus!!! One of the standout moments was the presentation. Each dish arrived like a work of art, showcasing the chef’s commitment to excellence. The drinks were equally impressive. The Chops Old Fashioned and Herradura Blanco Margaritas was expertly mixed In short, Chops Lobster Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, stellar service, and an unforgettable dining experience. Our group enjoyed dinner on a Tuesday evening - we have a diverse group of tastes and Le Colonial provided something for everyone! The starters are the perfect size to share and we decided to order an assortment of large plates. Everything from the menu is tasty and fantastic! Drinks and service were ready and well paced. Thank you for a fun night!

If I could give this place 5 more stars I would! I have to brag on how great this experience was! My husband and I ate here for lunch after we just got married, and we were not expecting such impeccable service from this restaurant. Our waitress greeted us by our names the entire meal, was very knowledgeable of the menu and history of the restaurant/hotel, and gave outstanding service! The food was delicious all around, champagne choice was perfect, and the manager/staff were beyond gracious to us. This meant so much to us on our big day, especially as an LGBTQ couple. Would highly recommend this establishment to any and everyone from now on. We will definitely be back!
