Best Lunch Restaurants in Halifax

First visit here with a friend who has been several times, I absolutely loved it, not eaten delicious food like that in a long time in a restaurant, it was outstanding. I will definitely be going again.very friendly staff, great value for your money.

Eaten here several times and we are always blown away by the quality food and service. They've always gone above and beyond to look after us even when we've had our 2 Jack Rssells with us. You are missing out if you dint eat here. Gorgeous place for a romantic meal but also relaxed enough for families. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful place, beautiful food. Service excellent. Excellent place for special occaisions. We go to Shibden Mill often.

Not as good as previous visits, but has apparently been recently taken over. Very disorganised, no drinks menus available, no knowledge of what was available. Drink spilled when delivering, but no offer to clean it up. Service very slow. The food however was good. Tonic water appeared in a glass, rather than in a bottle with a glass, which I found strange. The gentleman who I presume was the cook was somewhat dishevelled, with dirty clothes - a bit off-putting. Would I return? Possibly, but I think I’ll give them time to ‘settle in’. This place used to be superb, so I’m hoping it will return to that level.
