Butera's Restaurant of Sayville is a full service, fine dining "Family-Style" Italian restaurant serving seafood, steaks, veal, chicken and pastas dishes. "Family-style" dining affords groups the opportunity to sample many dishes at one time. We also serve individual portions upon request. We have a full bar and extensive wine list as well as an assortment of homemade desserts. There is sidewalk seating in beautiful downtown Sayville when the weather permits. Our lounge dining room provides private dining for groups of 25 - 40. We also cater larger parties in our other two dining rooms. Off-premise catering is a specialty of Butera's. The waitress we had was outstanding!! I wish I could remember her name. She had platinum blonde hair. She was awesome! There was an issue with my bill and she took care of it. I’m so grateful for her and the rest of the staff For checking in on me and my sister to see how we were doing. And wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. Also, the valet group was awesome as well.

Food is always spot on! Lobster Bisque was perfect, rich and creamy with plenty of lobster pieces. Our burgers were cooked a nice medium rare as requested. Nice beer on tap selection. Worth a visit!

Throughly enjoyed our dinner with dear friends. We appreciate the owner and her daughter/chef came over to chat with us after dinner. It is my second time dining at Sunflower and will be back and will well recommend! Fish done to perfection, Everything we had was outstanding..mussels with an amazing curry sauce, filet mignon, cod over lemon risotto, filet of sole, soups, oysters, pate..and a perfect wine selection. Bravo!
