- DDeanWarwickshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely fabulous from when you walk through the door to when you leave after having enjoyed great food, in a warm setting where the background noise is just right to ensure you can still enjoy a lively conversation with friends. We had a warm welcome, were seated promptly with a menu so delicious we committed to go back for more! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and continued throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was great as always with portion size just right and at the end of the evening the bill was extremely good value for money.More infoLoxley's Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.8

The price for the lamb special for 2 was a tad high at £85.More infoThe WoodsmanPrice: Very Expensive• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.6
- TTraceyOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on 30 Oct 2024Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.More infoAfternoon Tea @ Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bicester•4.6
- KKatrinelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on 27 Oct 2024We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰More infoDinner @ The Holt Hotel
