- DDianaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFood and service were wonderful. Quite relaxed yet perfect for a pre-theater dinner. We arrived at 5:15 and were out by 7 o’clock (no dessert) for a 7:30 show at Center Stage. The ambience is authentic. Gave it 4 for value as salads and appetizers were a bit pricey, and there was a surcharge for bread, which was delicious. The entrées were fairly priced. Would go back again when in Baltimore for a play. Might even go to Baltimore from Columbia just for the food, as it was that lovely. - TTheresaBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFrom start to finish, our dinner at Tagliata was exceptional. We began with the charcuterie board, letting our server surprise us with the meat selection, and they did not disappoint. The prosciutto was especially good—not too salty or fatty/stringy—while the darker cured meat was equally delicious. The Fontina and Pecorino paired beautifully with everything. For our second course, my boyfriend had the Caesar salad, which featured fresh anchovies in the dressing, adding a great depth of flavor. I had the Brussels sprout salad, which was fresh, well-balanced, and a great choice before the main course. For entrées, I ordered the Australian Wagyu steak special with bone marrow sauce. It was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and complemented by roasted veggies and mashed potatoes. My boyfriend had the rigatoni alla vodka, which he said was seasoned perfectly. To top it all off, we shared the tiramisu, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—light, creamy, and full of rich espresso flavor. I didn’t get their names, but the service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the ambiance made for a perfect dining experience. - JJasmineVIPAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined on 17 Feb 2025Walking into The Ruxton feels like stepping into a world of pure opulence. From the warm lighting to the tasteful décor, everything about the atmosphere left me in awe. I also appreciated the music selection, which was refreshingly diverse—and I loved the unexpected twist of hearing some Christian rap in the playlist. Our server, Jordyn, elevated the experience with excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. The Wagyu steak, paired with its rich sauce, was simply outstanding, and the Wagyu sliders did not disappoint either. One of the highlights was the salad, featuring bacon so flavorful it might be the best I’ve ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was solid—maybe not quite at the level of my grandmother’s Southern-style recipe, but still satisfying in its own right. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the attentive service—made for a wonderful lunch date. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with top-quality dishes and a welcoming vibe, The Ruxton should be at the top of your list.More infoThe RuxtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harbor East•4.8
