It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     It was our second time eating here for Valentine's Day, As usual the staff was great . Would recommend to anyone who ask me. Price point reasonable for what we ordered and the server we had(Tristan D) was knowledgeable of the menu and specials for the night. It doesn't have to be a specific holiday, just treat yourself to a nice meal every now and than.

    Ruth Chris is hands down my favorite restaurant for variety, ambiance, service and availability (they stay open late). The ribeye and stuffed chicken are my favorite entrees. I always order the lobster mac no matter what else i eat. The seafood tower is absolutely amazing too. The bbq shrimp were a bit disappointing this time, usually very savory. Last night way too salty. Also disappointed they still dont take apple pay, google wallet... like cmon guys. I had to leave and go to an ATM to get cash and pay for my meal. They need a sign posted as patrons walk through the door so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Still my favorite restaurant!!!

    We really enjoyed our experience at Linwoods. The food and the service were outstanding. We went for Valentine’s Day and the atmosphere was fantastic!! The restaurant was crowded but they handled it real well and made our night very special 😊

    Great experience overall. Our waitress was amazing! Food was great- except the Coconut Crab soup. Best calamari ever. Nice recognition of my son for his birthday. A little disappointed that after I ordered the Branzino, I was told a while later that it was all frozen and could not be ready for one hour. Ambience was nice. Been here several times, this was an improvement from before- would definitely return.
