- DDoriNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoRustic Root was great as usual. I had only been there for brunch and my latest outing there was for dinner. Ambience was great with dim lighting. Food was fantastic and fresh as usual. I took a newbie with me and she thanked me for introducing her to the restaurant. I will definitely be back!More infoRustic RootPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Woodbury•4.6
- SStephenOrlando / Central Florida East •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur servers Kenny and Brianna were excellent. They brought a lot of energy and definitely enhanced the dining experience. They both made recommendations that turned out to be on point. The apps were tremendous, tuna tartare and lobster dumplings. We also had the Halston roll and the Holiday roll which was a special, both were off the charts. Everyone enjoyed their entrees except the bronzing which I was told was dry and an overall swing and a miss. The scampi and ribs were delicious. The PB&J desert was ridiculous.More infoThe HalstonPrice: Expensive• American• Melville•4.4

- MMichaelNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI saw lots of bad reviews and was nervous, but if you're prepared to wait an extra 30-45 minutes from your reservation time, it's worth it. I'd never been here, but I think the delays are from the holiday rush. We waited about 40 minutes from our reservation time to get a table. But this gave us the time to walk around the winter village which is beautiful. So if you don't have to be seated immediately, I'd highly recommend it. Also, the food takes time, too. I don't remember exactly how long to get our plates, but longer than usual. It's expensive, but you're paying for the ambience, the experience and the food is pretty good. Not the best food in the world, but we really enjoyed it. And the Christmas Carolers sung beautiful Christmas songs all around the restaurant. So be ready to break the bank, wait a little longer, but get a unique holiday experience while doing so.More infoMilleridge InnPrice: Expensive• American• Jericho•3.9
