Best Lunch Restaurants in Plainfield

Always one of our favorite meals. Great ambience, attentive and knowledgeable servers, and the food is out of this world.

Our first experience with Dawson's was everything we hoped for. From the time we were seated, then throughout the meal and a complete menu list, the experience and ambience was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant for that special experience and the opportunity for future memories.

The food tastes great and the service is very friendly and fast. The appetizers and desserts are very good and the Mary’s mashed potatoes are fantastic. My only complaint is the noise level due to to the way the restaurant is laid out if you’re at a table in the middle and they butterfly cut my filet mignon to cook faster but I don’t like it when restaurants do that. Overall we will continue to come back when our budget allows. So thankful they were open Christmas Eve.

Every year on Christmas Eve, my family eats here for our Christmas dinner. The food was good as always. We ordered appetizers (crab rangoon and vegetables tempura), and we never got our vegetables. It wasn't the end of the world, but I was really looking forward to them

Cesar was a fantastic waiter. Prime rib special was a great deal and food was good. Mashed potatoes were meh, but steak, asparagus, and pizookie were all amazing. Cesar is what got the five stars for sure tho. I appreciate him and he was super nice and helpful.
