Had a great first experience at The Smith. Our server Terra was very nice and conveyed the specials and the menu well. She made sure we were having a great experience which can be a rare find in restaurants now a days. The pressed chicken was fantastic as was the 3 leaf salad. Great spot for before a Caps game. Looking forward to my next visit and will recommend to friends. Thanks Terra!

Tried taste of the south for brunch on New Years Day. The restaurant is cute, service was outstanding! Our waiter was amazing, I wish I caught his name. Smashed potatoes and shrimp and grits were delicious. Already planing a visit back for dinner :)

The parmesan bread is soft and flavorful, while the cornbread, with its subtle hint of jalapeño, adds a unique twist. It’s hard to resist asking for a second basket. Their Negroni is nothing short of perfection—expertly balanced, showcasing the classic cocktail’s rich and sophisticated character. It’s the ideal pairing for any dish on the menu. The tuna steak was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly seared and paired with a ginger ponzu sauce, it delivered a harmonious balance of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The lobster claws were another highlight—simply spectacular. The freshness and quality of the seafood, paired with flawless preparation, made them an absolute treat.
