Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We visit the Black Horse about once a year as it is a great midway point between us in London and friends from the midlands. The food and service never disappoint. I had the buffalo chicken wings to start which were a great sized portion and lovely and spicy. Between us we had a range of burgers and a couple of kids meals, all were delicious. We look forward as always to our next visit.

Wonderful space. Really helpful and friendly staff. Let us sit around playing games afterwards too with no onward bookings. Thanks guys!!! Only reason for not 5* food is limited veggie options. Value of food very, very fair for the quality of food and venue, but does add up fast if on three courses.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
