Best Lunch Restaurants in Indian Wells

I've been going to Mitch’s a while. it's been a great spot to meet girlfriends at the bar have brunch or dinner but one year ago I had my first date with my true love and we are back for our anniversary one year later. Mitch rolled out the red carpet for us and made it a very special night. The food was delicious and the service is always incredible. Its such a special place to us now we highly recommend others making memories here. Thank you, Mitch.

My friend and I like to try new restaurants and Kestrel did not disappoint. We also order things we haven't had before which included: Pistachio Old Fashion, Desert Sunset and, Crab Hashbrown. I thought Thommy was wonderful. He read the table, he was engaging, light and fun. I would poach him if I owned a restaurant. He was knowledgeable of the menu and steered us in the right direction as we like to share everything. The Pan Roasted Seabass was cooked perfectly and was also a highlight. The Date Carrot Cake was over the top delectable. It was sticky and sweet and full of flavor. A large piece we could possibly finish after everything else we had but, we will fight over who gets to take it hoe and have it with their coffee tomorrow. My only "huh" moment was realizing the Desert Sunset Cocktail was $24 (more than any glass of wine on the menu). I just don't feel that price fits the Craft Cocktail experience. So glad that we discovered this place on Christmas Day whole visiting Palm Desert. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Great service too!

We were passing through Palm Desert on Christmas Eve and were able to secure a reservation at Cafe Des Beauz-Arts…and were not disappointed. The servers were very attentive and upbeat (despite having to work on Christmas Eve!). I had the Sand Dabs Picatto and the flavors were wonderful…although maybe a little too fishy tasting. Beet Salad and French Onion soup were delectable. A non-alcoholic wine/mocktail selection would have been nice. Raspberry crème brule and cappuccinos were perfect endings to the meal!

Great service! We sat outside. Favorites were the tuna ahi salad and chicken sandwich with brie.
