Best Lunch Restaurants in Hillside

Our server (Jacob) was awesome! In fact, everyone was great…The hostess knew I was joining the other guests, a brunette female server was super helpful, too! Three of us girls had not seen each other in a few years and we had a lot of catching up to do! No rushing us…plenty of water refills…etc.

It was my first time and I had such a great experience! The food was fantastic and the wine added such a nice touch to the evening. I loved all the variety of wines available as it allowed me to explore and try something I couldn’t elsewhere. The food menu is also quite varied and has something for everyone! The service was great and quick, even though it was fairly busy. Will definitely be returning!

Everything was very nice and the decorations were out of this world. The food was tasty and there were so many different dishes to choose from. The only drawback for me was that I’m not a big eater, and that you cannot take, what I call , is a doggie bag. And I feel that I did not get my money’s worth at $115.00 plus tax and tip.

This has become our new Christmas Eve tradition! From the moment we walked in, the festive atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning Christmas decorations that added such a warm, cozy touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service was impeccable as well; our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does. Whether you're here for a holiday gathering or just a special meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
