The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. We always enjoy going to Holmans. A little disappointed with my Benedict because the eggs were overcooked,but still delicious. Mushroom toast was delicious as always. We also thought we could use more than one $25 bonus gift card at one time. Still had a very good brunch with our friends.

We loved the wild rice hot dish. Soothing to the stomach. The brisket was good but messy to eat. The MN room was noisy, but that was our mistake for reserving the wrong area. This restaurant has it all. We would love to go back to explore the other areas. The blueberry tea was a fun experience how it was presented and was very refreshing on a cold winter evening.

Lovely experience here tonight for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious, our server was attentive and very personable, and the manager was very welcoming. It was also nice to be in a restaurant where it wasn’t overly loud. We enjoyed the ambiance!

Our server was so good even though the place was packed! It was 2 days before Christmas and right before a nearby hockey game so every table was full of large groups. Our server kept her cool and was attentive and kind. And the kitchen stayed on their game too, delivering very hot delicious meals.
