Water Lane is a restaurant based within a working market garden in the High Weald of Kent. Guided by the seasons, our menu reflects its sense of place in the English countryside where we grow our own vegetables and use local suppliers. We visit here whenever there is a birthday or other event in the family, and we are never disappointed. They don't have a vast menu, which in my mind means everything is freshly prepared and not bought in from a commercial food supplier. Yes, I would definitely recommend visiting this charming country Inn.

Fantastic service, matched by the setting and the food. Our first visit since recently moving and certainly won’t be our last. Loved the fact that Chef felt he had ‘done me out of some greens’ so sent an additional portion. The sauce with the Lamb Pie was amazing and the ladies were grateful for the Pork Collar recommendation.
