Best Lunch Restaurants in Downingtown

Really good Greek restaurant. We tried this place for the first time tonight and were thrilled at the quality of the food and the overall wonderful service. A few hiccups occurred with ordering but everything was easily resolved and the people were lovely. A great meal and a new “go-to” restaurant for us

We love Anthony’s so I knew this is where I wanted to go for my birthday. There was a slight mix up with our reservation because Anthony’s was also hosting a private party upstairs, so we had to wait a bit but the owner was so sweet and worked on getting us seated as quickly as possible. Our favorite thing to order is the Burrata- it is absolutely wonderful. It’s fresh, a nice mix of flavors, and a really large portion. My husband got chicken carbonara and I got the special pasta- Tuscana pasta with chicken. Again- wonderful. Our server, Jackie, was amazing and all of the staff- bus boys, food runners, hostesses etc. are constantly working hard to make sure everyone is attended to. The owners are very kind, welcoming and attentive to their customers. Despite having to wait, it was totally worth it and will be back many times!

Staff was attentive and on top of things. Food was excellent. Gumbo tasty and deconstructed chicken pot pie delicious. Would go again.

I am concerned that my credit card was not charged for the total amount including the tip. I called and was told the tip would be charged to my card in several days. That does not seem appropriate.

First time patron. Both my wife and I like sushi and asian foods. Greeted immediately and pleasantly; found our reservation via OT promptly. Cozy venue not too loud very crowded. Very good service, food came promptly. Excellent dumplings! Tom Yum soup was a spur of the moment choice but awesome. Wife had chicken with garlic dish; very reasonable portion. I had 2 maki rolls which were excellent. Wasabi seemed less potent that I am accustomed to. BYOB place so no drinks. $75 for 2 with a 25% tip. Would definitely go again!
