- JJohnBristol •20 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe stayed one night and had dinner at Duncombe Arms. The accommodation is really lovely - rooms are so well appointed and very clean. Great walk-in shower and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on in a hotel / guest house. Lovely views from the room with table and chairs outside for when it's not snowing! The meal was outstanding!! One of the nicest rib-eye steaks I have had for along time. Although the wine list appeared shorter than usual with some crossed off, what I had was very good (lovely Malbec to go with the steak). The breakfast was excellent, as was the service throughout. Will be back for sure.More infoThe Duncombe ArmsPrice: Expensive• British• Ashbourne•4.6

- RRachelGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined on 12 Oct 2024Great food and service was brilliant. We had to update our booking to reduce number and open table inadvertently changed the booking date!! The restaurant was unfortunately full but they accommodated our group in the library. This actually made it a lovely quirky private experience (low table dining) for a 50th birthday celebration and service was still very attentive, even though we were tucked away.More infoBiggin Hall Hotel & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Buxton•4.8
