Best Lunch Restaurants in Groton

My daughter and I had dinner at Littleton‘s Tavern in the Square on a Wednesday night following a movie at the cinema just up the hill. Our server, Tennille (guessing at the spelling of her name, sorry!) was wonderful! Her smile and greeting immediately made our night - as she approached and welcomed us, she genuinely looked so happy to see us, and so happy to be there herself! What a lovely person - amazing hospitality! The food was great, too! I had the kale salad with grilled chicken and a cranberry balsamic vinaigrette. Every bite was delicious! Sometimes when a restaurant offers a side of grilled chicken with a salad it’s not so good - this was very nicely seasoned and charred. My daughter ordered the ahi tuna bowl, which she also loved! The kitchen forgot to include the aïoli, but Tennille was happy to bring it to our table afterward. The restaurant was pretty crowded, and a little loud, but our wonderful server and the great food made it a very nice experience!

An outstanding venue in downtown Groton - wonderful food, good wine list, thoughtful service.

We had a cobb salad and small pizza with toppings. Both were very good. Service was excellent. NYAJ is always a good choice for a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

Trrrific experience! We were celebrating a birthday last Sunday and they made it extra special! Highly recommend the Sunday brunch!

The service was great! The waitstaff and even management was always around to ensure you are okay. The table was ready to go the moment we got there which was amazing as we had a party of 10 and thought we might have to wait. The food was amazing for everyone we all cleaned the plates :). Lastly the drinks we amazing as well, you for sure get what you pay for.
