I strongly suggest making a reservation.More infoCarnegie Diner & Café – 828 8th Ave, New York, NYPrice: Moderate• American• Theater District•4.3
- EEllenNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy experience with the management staff person, Jennifer, was over and above!! We had a reservation for 7 in the dining area, but when we arrived, we were escorted to a high-top table in the bar area. Jennifer got involved and was able to secure a wonderful table in the dining room within a few minutes. My grandchildren, daughter, friend and I all had a delicious lunch. All the restaurant personnel provided excellent customer service and are to be complimented.More infoBill's Bar and BurgerPrice: Moderate• Burgers• Rockefeller Center•4.3
- WWillardVIPNew York City •183 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was a fabulous lunch from beginning to end! The service was just out of this world as was the food! I had their marvelous French onion soup to start, and then a large order of steak tartare with pomme fritts! Then to top it all off I had a gorgeous hot fudge sundae with their special ice cream of the week, which was peanut butter and boy was it ever special! All topped up with a mountain of whipped cream and some beautiful toasted almonds. Please don’t share this with my cardiologist.More infoCafe LuxembourgPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.8

Cocktails were delicious as well as the food, however the service was a little slow.More infoOscar WildePrice: Moderate• American• Chelsea•4.1
- MMary LouVIPFort Lauderdale •50 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Dec 2024This is the 3rd time we have gone here during our visits to NYC. First time was on a whim due to an unpleasant experience at another steakhouse during a previous visit. Steaks were great as were the scallops. Plenty of choices for appetizers, salads and sides. They will accommodate reasonable requests. Not as nostalgic as Peter Luger’s, Gallagher’s or Frankie and Johnnie’s but the service and steaks are as good if not better. It is a little pricy but that seems to be the norm for NYC steakhouses. Interior is more of a modern vibe with a nice open bar area and tables well spaced. Good wine list covering most desires. House choices for wines are also very good. Will likely go back again the next time we are in NYC.More infoBenjamin Steakhouse PrimePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown East•4.6
