Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Sorrento Mesa

I love this location. It couldn’t be better to see the waves and the beautiful sunset and the happy people all around down at the beach. The only thing I wish is that the food had less added sugar. I felt the hidden sugar ruined the wonderful food. We Californians don’t like all the unneeded carbs on our plates. But the cool building, the sunset views, and the nice waiter, was all quite lovely.

We went to dinner to celebrate Valentines Day. Everything about the evening was perfect. The service provided by our waiter, Ricky, was just wonderful. He was attentive but not obtrusive and seemed to intuitively know when to check on us. The dinners my wife and I were magnificent. We shared the wedge salad and a cup of clam chowder- perhaps the best we have ever had. My wife had the linguini with clams and I had the crab ravioli in lobster sauce. Both were delicious. However, the jewel of the evening was the tiramisu- absolutely wonderful and the best we have had in a restaurant in a long time. Overall this was a magnificent meal and the perfect way to celebrate our 56th Valentines Day together. We will certainly be returning soon.

Mackenzie was our server today. She was so friendly. Asked us all about our day and recognized us as regulars and asked about our retirement. We really appreciated her service! All of the staff who recognize us go out of their way to come and say Hi. Kyle, RJ, Brandon, Lauren, Meg, they always welcome us with a smile and great service.

I am a fan of the Queenstown and BareBack team. I really appreciate their dedication to GF options (separate fryer at many locations - BOMB). Good food, nice folks and fair prices.

This is one of my most favorable restaurants in San Diego.
