A few short steps from the British Museum, The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting. Together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel’s location is beautifully achieved. Executive chef, Martin Halls, blends seasonal ingredients and herbs from our garden with classical techniques to create seasonal British menus. In all of our products, we only use free-range eggs and are committed to sustainable fisheries for our fish supplies.     We really enjoyed our meal at My Old Dutch, Holborn. The front of house staff were really accommodating since we arrived earlier than our booking time due to cutting our plans short because of the bad weather. The food was delicious. Staff were attentive on a super busy Saturday and we were seated near-ish to the till area and could tell the team of waiting staff have a good team vibe of enjoying working together which makes for a great atmosphere. The starter did arrive the same time as the main course - not sure why?! But we just found it funny and had it after our pancakes. We had the Valentine special of Biscoff hearts and that was great for sharing and we enjoyed the soft to crunch ratio in the textures and the flavours of course! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

    We always have a great time at Lore, the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome even though they are rushing about they still take the time to talk to you, food is outstanding and the service is amazing, booked in for Sunday roast in June and December.

    Went for my birthday dinner with friends. Very traditional old English hotel which I loved. Limited menu but the food was very nice. We enjoyed it. We weren't rushed to leave the table. I'll be back
