Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Des Moines

Had the valentines dinner special! Tasted great and CJ always a good vibe.

Dukes is always a great experience. They have variety on the menu and quality ingredients. They are my go to. Their fresh sheet always has seasonal delicious options. They are consistent and local. It’s a great way to have a delicious meal with friendly service without having to be fancy.

Food and view were great. Drinks and food were out quickly. Been a long while since we had been there. Memories of times being there came back and everything about the place was the same just a little more expensive but worth every penny.

First, you can definitely smell the smoke from where people are playing slots. Second, we ordered garlic chicken wings as a starter, a special entree that was salt and pepper ribs, and magnolian beef. Magnolian beef was by far the best dinner. It was really good. The other two were very disappointing. We barely ever have date nights so we enjoyed our time out but next time we would choose a different restaurant.

Very good food and service overall at BJ's Restaurant in Southcenter Mall. Everyone liked what they ordered in my group and I heard no complaints regarding either the food, service or noise level. A few standouts from the food ordered include the New Orleans Jambalaya, a Gourmet Five Meat Pizza, and the Wedge Salad, as well as the non-alcoholic Berry Tasty drink.
