Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Virginia Beach

I have to say I’m impressed with my 1st time visiting, the whole staff was amazing & worked as a team but our waitress Stacie was the best I could ask for, very polite & held great conversation I felt like she’s my friend now. She promoted the specials & recommended entrees & appetizers based on her personal preference. Stacie continued to check in on us periodically & made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. Food &drinks were 10 out of 10, I will be returning, GREAT JOB!!!

Our waitress, Lauren, was fabulous. The food was excellent, tasty, warm and just as ordered - and expected. The breaded mozzarella sticks were just OK - not crispy and barely warm (not near as good as Waterman’s) restaurant and the Bread served with chopped garlic/tomato topping while we were perusing the menu (sort of a combo between Nan and Pita bread) was good, but you really should serve a tasty Italian or French bread with the meal. Those were the only minor dings. Overall a really good experience. We’ll be back.

On our pre valentines day dinner our four dinners drove 1:45 minutes to our go to special occasion, Aldos. We were 20 minutes early but immediately greeted and seated, and server reached the table within a minute. We were offered beverage choices and appetizers which arrived quickly and provided with menus and info on specials. Sabrina was a personable, knowlegeable, well trained and eager server who represents the high values of the restaurant. Everything was delivered to the table timely, hot , well prepared and presented. Salmon, veal and veal parmigian were all excellent and focacia bread and mussels were great accompaniments. The meal concluded with apple pie, peach cobbler and creme brulee. Our experiences at Aldos over 20 years have always been good to outstanding but this experience was the BEST ever. Thank you for a total dining experience and look forward to next visit.

We arrived a little early for our reservation and were greeted promptly. Had to wait a short time before we were seated, which gave us time to walk around the lobby area. Devon was the perfect waiter; personable, friendly and was very attentive to our needs and questions. I would request him if he is working. The food was excellent. The chef in the restaurant knows how to cook food perfectly. My wife's scallop special was great. The scallops were seared to perfection; not mushy or dry. I had the surf and turf with pecan crusted pork chop and pistachio crusted grouper. These are on the regular menu, and I would highly recommend this dish. Again, both were cooked to perfection. A must is the salted caramel creme brulee. All in all, a great pre-Valentine's dinner. Thank you.

Had dinner with my Mom who was visiting out of town. Our server was Sean. Sean was prompt, friendly, accommodating and personable, he even did offer some great dishes. First we shared the brusssel sprouts, which were recommended and very delicious. Mom had the single crab cake and she said her dinner was great! I had the pork ribeye with posted pork ribeye with potatoes and asparagus, divine! After dinner we shared an apple cheesecake but at Sean’s suggestion we put raspberry sauce on it. It was lovely! I would surely recommend the Hunt Room to anyone. Enjoy!
