Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Stony Brook

Food is always excellent but what really stood out this visit was the service. Every table full, 2-deep at the bar, and the staff didn't miss a step. Food and drinks came out right on time. Ron was even walking around making sure everything was perfect but his staff had it all covered.

We had our Christmas Eve dinner at the Fifth Season. I received a call ahead of time inquiring about food allergies which was necessary for our party. We sat upstairs (notified in advance that we would be seated upstairs) and the room was lively and festive. The menu had something for everyone (including vegan options) even though it was a holiday menu. Our waitress was aware of the food allergy issues and double checked some of the items ordered. She was wonderful! Our meals were delicious from start to finish! All in all a special holiday experience!

One of the best dinners we had in a long time. Food was great, plentiful and very reasonably priced. We had a christmas eve dinner. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend.

Food and service were outstanding. Staff were very courteous and efficient in providing service throughout our meal. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. Our group loved the skirt steak and salmon entrees. A great place for a special meal!

Food was good, as usual. Service is always good. My only complaint is that they bring out the side dishes before you start having the meat. By the time you start on the meat, the sides are cold. Also, the soda every time we have eaten here is flat. They need to check their soda machine.
