- IIreneSan Diego •48 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCame for brunch. The husband is not a fan of vegan/vegetarian food, but he had to admit it was good. The cocktails are delicious and the food was pretty good. We stuck with items that wouldn’t be plant based meat replacements and were pleased with our choices.More infoKINDREDPrice: Expensive• Vegetarian / Vegan• South Park•4.7

- NNathanSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWow where do I start!! 12/10 recommend. I have been thinking about our dinner from last night all day! The whole ambiance was stellar. Just from the moment walking in I had a good feeling and it didn’t stop there. Our server, David, was the best!! So professional and knew his stuff. He walked us through drinks too. He truly made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. We had ideas of what to get coming in but we took David’s suggestions. Did not disappoint — I was happy dancing about the food each bite!! Hands DOWN get the Hamachi and the Pork Secreto. So simple and SO GOOD. They had a great wine list and cocktails to choose from too. If you’re a mezcal drinker, get the mango drink. Not a huge mango fan but woah! It was amazing and made me want to drink my partners. It’s clarified and their bar program did a great job on the process. Cody, the general manager, was the best too!! He was helping out the team and checking in with folks too. I’m so impressed by the way both Cody and David made us feel as if the only guests in a busy restaurant. It really elevated our experience and also made us feel we could ask for anything. Long review but yes go — get the mango and mezcal drink, hamachi, pork secreto, have David be your server, and meet Cody! It’s one of my new favorite places in San Diego. Thanks Herb & Wood team for the best experience!More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- CCathyVIPSan Diego •25 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at The Huntress. We started with two different cocktails that were very creative and delicious. The yellowtail Serrano was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Parker rolls were flaky and tasted almost like challah. We had them with the little gem Caesar salad, which was outstanding. The dressing was some of the best I’ve ever had. The flaxseed crisps really complimented the salad. For our entrée, we had the dry aged bone in New York steak, which they sliced for us and it was so flavorful, so tender, so delicious. The thousand stacked potatoes were also a great choice. My hubby and I split all these dishes and we had some leftovers. The quantities were very good. We had no room for dessert sadly. Service was excellent.More infoHuntressPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.6
- AAutumnPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI had an amazing experience at Iron Fish & Oyster! We sat outside around 5 PM, and the setting was absolutely beautiful—perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the clam chowder, the biggest tower, fish and chips, and a lobster roll. Everything was fresh and delicious! The chowder was rich and flavorful, packed with clams, and topped with crispy bacon, adding the perfect touch. The seafood tower was impressive, overflowing with a variety of incredibly fresh selections, and the lobster roll was perfectly balanced with buttery, tender lobster. Not only was the food incredible, but the atmosphere was also welcoming and kid-friendly. They even had the cutest high chairs that matched the current dining chairs, which was such a nice touch. The drinks were also amazing—well-crafted and a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, the combination of great food, a beautiful setting, and thoughtful details made for a fantastic dining experience. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend itMore infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.6
