Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Poway / Rancho Bernardo

Outstanding place to eat, drink and enjoy. Food choices, presentation and flavor was great. Service was great.

Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was full and she never stopped moving and was always gracious. The golden beet salad is delicious. The deep dish pizzas make you eat one slice too many because it’s so good! Nice beer, wine and cocktail selection.

Absolutely delightful from start to finish! The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, and the patio looked beautiful. After dinner we went upstairs to see all the wondrous holiday decorations that appear every year. The RB Inn is definitely one must go in our holiday plans.

We have been to Carvers many times. Outstanding service and food. Prices a little heavy on certain items but not a deal breaker. The restaurant has a great ambiance...not too big and not too small. Very comfortable decor and surroundings. One complaint this time around. I had a beautiful looking Peppercorn topped NY Steak but it had major area of tough chewing. I didn't complain because what I DID eat, was very tasty and tender. Plus, it was Christmas Eve and I didn't want to bring up any negatives. We'll definitely be back...but I just won't have the steak. Sometimes there are stumbling blocks to complete satisfaction. They have other superior items on the menu from A to Z. Until next time.... Since we went at 4:30, it was fairly quiet, not crowded. I wish they would expand their menu a bit. The lobster bisque soup was good, but lukewarm. The mahi was great. My companion sent the vegetables back to the kitchen to be cooked more, but they came back the same. The prices are a bit high so I won't return frequently.
