Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Near North

Joe's never disappoints. The stone crab claws are always delicious. The salads--beet root and chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, and feta--were excellent and large-sized (shareable). And the crab cakes were all crab and the tuna perfectly cooked and plentiful. The service is attentive, but not intrusive, and very helpful in making menu decisions. And the ambience is nice--the tables and booths are nicely spaced so that, even when Joe's is crowded, which is all the times we have been there, it is possible for two people to have a conversation without having to yell across the table at each other. Joe's is on our regular rota of Chicago restos--pricey but worth the cost.

Absolutely amazing experience last night. Our services was phenomenal and the food was out of this world. We have been coming to RPM Italian whenever we are in town and this has been our best meal yet. The Gluten Free Pasta is the best in the City as it’s homemade fettuccine. Just a fantastic experience.

The food is unbelievable and the service was the best we had in Chicago! Highly recommend the pasta dishes — they even split our dishes for us because we were splitting. We went on the last day of our trip and wish we went sooner to hit it multiple times. Big ups to Siena Tavern. Any bad reviews for this place is fake news.

Booked here at the last minute dinner was amazing. The pizza was very, very good. The short rib was Devine. We also had the charcuterie board and the apricot sauce should be jarred and sold in stores. It was amazing.

We had a table of 6 and ordered a variety of entrees including fillets, Mediterranean shrimp salad, dragon burger and chicken sandwich. All of it was very good with an attentive waiter. We will definitely be returning!
