- KKhairahNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMatty was attentive, funny, kind and completely on point. We did not get the maitre d’s name but he was gracious as well! We decided to end the night at the bar and Josh and Jack (I think) were the absolute BOMB. The piece de reasistence Was. The. FOOD! For the table, oysters, lobster r dumplings, hot mess fries and calamari - omg, phenomenal. Brisket on the fries was a bit dull but still good. Then we individually had Filet Mignon & lobster, porter and lobster (not good, traded up for the filet) shrimp and scallops and salmon. We will be back once we recoup on the market what we spent last night but overall would do it again and again. - MMichaelNew York City •69 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur first experience, and we wonder why it took us so long? They are the complete package, amazing Tomahawk Steak, sides, everything. They even have Eric LeGrand Bourbon. Had to taste it. Lots of Rutgers memorabilia. Paul was our server. We have never experienced such a complete server. His explanations were epic, clear and concise. He graciousness was off the charts. you MUST request him!More infoSteakhouse 85Price: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Brunswick•4.8
- MMaureenNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. We were shown to our tables and with two smalls kids, we were first asked if the table was acceptable. This felt like a breath of fresh air- to have others validate the concern of table space and comfortability when dining with your kids. Our waiter, Mike, was patient and kind to my kids. He told us about all the specials and drink options he thought we’d enjoy. He told us his favorites which swayed us in to ordering the potato spuds for an appetizer. There was no hesitation after the first bite that Mike did not steer us wrong. Our entrees were cooked to perfection. We ordered drinks, based on Mikes recommendations, that were customized to our celebrations (birthday and new years). This made us feel like Mike really took the time out to make sure we had the best experience possible. During our dessert, another server Dan, stopped by our table to wish us a happy birthday and to acknowledge how well behaved my kids were being. I appreciate coming to a restaurant where we can eat amazing food, have really great drinks, and have an over the top experience. Thank you Mike and 618 for a perfect night for my family.More info618Price: Moderate• American• Freehold•4.9
