Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Ellicott City

Excellent service - Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Not super crowded when we were there which is why I selected quiet, I have been there when live music was playing and it was too loud for me, but this trip was excellent.

We had an amazing experience this Christmas eve at Xenia. Our server Jonathan was fantastic and attentive and the food was absolutely amazing; we will definitely be coming back for another special occasion.

We always eat out on Christmas Eve after the week of getting ready. We wanted to try a new place and Manor Hill looked like a good option. Our server, food and setting were great but it was a bit slow; likely due the holiday rush. We weren't in a hurry but the hard chairs were a bit much after awhile, especially for my 87 yr old mom. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and that's the most important part.

We all enjoyed our meals. My husband ordered the duck breast which was excellent, my son ordered the burger and fries that he thoroughly enjoyed, and I ordered a special which was Frenched Huli Huli Chicken with rice and haricot vert which was amazing. I heartily endorse this restaurant. The wine selections were perfect. Don't turn down dessert. We had creme brulee, bread pudding and pecan tart all of which were perfection. I can also recommend the arancini appetizer which is delicious.

Fun girls’ holiday night out. 1/2 price wine on Monday! We shared salads and apps and everything was great. Paul was an excellent server. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Only downside - don’t sit at the window table when it is 20 degrees outside. 🥶❄️ That being said, it didn’t ruin our evening!
