Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Carlsbad

Always love Chandler's. Our meals were great. Only one comment about the Black Cod with a very mild lemon sauce. Although it was very good, there were pepper flakes or something small that was very hot in the sauce or on the vegetables. Whatever it was got in my throat and made me cough and my eyes water numerous times. I didn't expect the mild sauce to have any hot peppers in it or I wouldn't have ordered it. The pomegranate & pear salad was excellent, as was the squash soup. The short ribs and the prime rib my dinner companions ordered were delicious. The creme brulee was good but the sugar must have been carmelized earlier in the day so the dish was cold without the treat of the warm carmelized sugar topping on top of the cool custard.

All six in our party had an amazing, memorable Thanksgiving dinner experience. Their service is outstanding and each meal was prepared perfectly. Their deserts are a must!

The Thanksgiving dining experience was lovely. The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was nice. It did feel a bit expensive however it was Thanksgiving. One little quick sidenote they should’ve offered coffee, tea, etc. in the buffet line. I did have a coffee after dinner however I had to ask for it as it was not featured with the food and desserts. Thanks.

Horacio is an exceptional server and got all of our special requests correct. It was an evening with live music on the patio so quite busy. Food was good and the ambience was nice on the cold evening.
