Welcome to Market Place Kitchen & Bar! We are a new Modern American Restaurant in the heart of Woodbury, CT, we are run by Executive Chef Matt DeLongis. We celebrate and encourage local, organic and sustainably harvested food and spirits. The interior of our space is compiled of sustainable and local materials, utilizing beautiful 300 year old barn wood from the Gurski Farm in Brookfield, CT. For three years in a row we were named Best Farm To Table Restaurant by the readers of the Waterbury Observer! We look forward to you trying our inventive, seasonally inspired cuisine and cocktails.     the restaurant is wonderful. Service was great. Food was awesome! My only complaint has nothing to do with the restaurant, it was a mother with 2 children sitting right next to us. Her toddler was a screamer, and mom held conversations with her husband and children, screaming her words! This was NOT the restaurant's fault-but mom got my dirty look and realized her parenting skills needed to be checked. They eventually left, but it was very nerve-wracking to sit through her screaming to speak to her husband.........

    Fabulous restaurant. Great service and servers, food was delicious and the atmosphere a treasure. 10 of us dined for Christmas Eve and it has become our family tradition for the past 4 years. Thank you for always taking care of us.

    My first visit there sat at the bar. Chris makes incredible cocktails best I’ve had the food was extraordinary. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back repeatedly. Thank you for an incredible evening, Margaret.
