Very big portions but the cost was lower than expected! Definitely will be back and recommend.More infoOmeteoPrice: Moderate• Tex-Mex• McLean•4.4
- CChristineWashington, D.C. Area •28 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our first visit. We started with the four gras and the beet salad, both delicious. We had the lamb for two, prepared with Meyer lemon. It was perfectly balanced, the lemon added to the dish instead of overpowering it and the meat was a perfect medium rare. The staff was attentive and friendly, especially the bartender. We would like to go back on a night when they have their tasting menu available. The only thing that was off was that it was very smoky. I think one of their exhaust fans is broken.More infoClarityPrice: Expensive• French American• Vienna•4.4
- RrobertWashington, D.C. Area •137 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOutstanding!! I normally do not like to go to restaurants on days they have special menus. However, the Valentine's choices were wonderful! The lobster and tuna appetizers were delicious, as were the Branzino entree and the luscious raspberry tarts! Julio's service was so refined and helpful, as usual. And James opened a lovely burgundy and provided a delightful evening surprise!! I love going here. I wish I could enjoy the cuisine and service more often. My go-to spot for top flight dining and service in the region.More info2941 RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French American• Falls Church•4.9
- JJoeWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my partner and i’s two year anniversary and when I made the reservation it asked me to say what the occasion was and I picked anniversary. When we got to our table they had a lovely card from the staff wishing us happy anniversary and a red rose. The whole night staff members came up to us wishing us happy anniversary and it was very nice. Our server was so nice and he went through the menu with us very thoroughly and accommodated my gluten allergy very well. - MMargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur food was delicious, fresh, generous portions. We had roasted half chicken and avocado toast. We both asked for substitutions/add-ons which were accommodated. I was offered an alternative add-on because the one I initially requested was seasonal. Drinks and desserts were also good regarding taste and serving size. Our waiter was very pleasant and regularly checked on us without being intrusive. The manager also stopped by our table and other customers to check that everything was ok. It’s a diner, so noise levels are what one might expect, but we could easily converse without raising our voices. It has a retro diner vibe with posters/photos/vinyl of iconic performers at Carnegie Hall (original diner in New York is near the concert hall). It’s becoming a favorite neighborhood spot so it’s always busy and the one negative is that parking in this popular local shopping center is relatively limited so it can be hard to find a space during peak hours.More infoCarnegie Diner & Café – 501 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VAPrice: Moderate• American• Vienna•4.2
