Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Richboro

This has quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is delightful. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is greatly unique. For an intimate dining experience of two to a larger group of friends out for some drinks and dinner The Cage offers it all. The main dining area includes booths, high tops, the bar, and a caged table for a bigger party that seems to sit 8-10 people. The main area is decorated in what I would say is the Garden of the Hesperides meets Wonderland. There is a separate dining room as well that is tucked away from the noise that has a beautiful fireplace and a large crafted canoe suspended from the ceiling. The drink menu plays off Greek mythology and the food menu offers a variety of dishes to suit even the most picky eaters pallet.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. Our server, Carlee, was so kind and attentive I felt like we were old friends. The atmosphere is perfect for a special dinner, yet not at all stuffy or pretentious. Ideal for a romantic dinner for two or a family night out. The regular menu is loaded with options. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. I often get a veal dish because it’s tender enough to eat with a fork and I just can’t make it like that at home. I’ve had many of the pasta dishes, and the gnocchi is my favorite. The Valentine’s Day menu had a few themed additions, such as the Amore Arancini appetizer, comprised of three flavorful, beefy rice balls that we enjoyed. Portion sizes are large enough that we packed some up to enjoy the next day. The dessert menu has many tempting offerings. I was stuffed, but I made a selection to take home. We both agreed that we need to come back more often.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted to the time we left - we had the ultimate first class dining experience! Our waiter Damon was super friendly and engaging - quickly asking us if we were celebrating a special occasion! It was my father’s 81st birthday! After he took our drink order he came back and decorated our table with happy birthday confetti!!! The thought was so nice and unexpected. It made my dad smile and we really enjoyed the moment. Damon was quick to take our orders and answer some of our silly questions! Service was excellent and the food was great! Damon then brought over dessert along with a special plate that said Happy Birthday in chocolate with 2 sweet desserts and a candle!! We all sang happy birthday and my dad was thrilled. It was the perfect night!! We all agreed that the experience was perfection and that is was Damon who truly made the difference! We know if we come back again - we want to sit in Damon’s section. Surprisingly very good and great service. When they first opened years ago it was good then went down hill but past few times the food has been really good. Hopefully they keep up whatever they are doing different because it’s a really cool spot and kids eat free on Mondays so that’s a plus.
