- JJorgeNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our second visit to La Capella. Our main draw is the phenomenal view of the cathedral, live violinist and the structure. Such a beautiful restaurant. Overall our dining experience was good. I can’t say great because our experience with service was underwhelming. Our server appeared overwhelmed with his tables. He was rushing practically running around the restaurant. The birthday celebrations were only adding to his tasks. I spoke to the server and askee him to seek help as we were waiting a long time and hadn’t received bread or placed our appetizer order. I told him not his fault but ask for help. I didn’t know that my partner went to speak to Hosts on way to bathroom. From then on other servers arrived to assist and our meal service improved. Overall we were pleased with our food, cocktails and the 3 violints serenating us along with the many birthday celebrations. We love La Capella and will return I am sure this was a one off. Thank you.More infoLa CappellaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Puerto Vallarta•4.9

Outstanding food, great portion sizes, and affordable prices for a fine dining experience. In addition, they have an extensive wine list that highlights the wonderful wines of Mexico.More infoTrio - Puerto VallartaPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Puerto Vallarta•4.8

I just didn’t see the value in the cost for the omakase. Normally for that price you would get a larger number. Selection of fishes seafoods. I feel like they use the same fish many different ways but didn’t have a good selection of fish or seafood. When you’re spending over $150 a person shrimp and Uni and scallops and some other rare Fish or shellfish, but it was just mainly tuna and salmon and a couple other fishesMore infoSendoPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Puerto Vallarta•4.8
