- MMarnaVIPNew York City •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have dined frequently at the Griswold Inn but last night was the first time we dined there with the strolling carolers. It was really quite special such a beautiful historic location to have a holiday meal with the people you love and a little bit of Christmas spirit! The short ribs, as always, were on point and delicious and I don't know you did something extra good to the mashed potatoes last night too! We also loved the oysters and the baked cod was so fresh and yummy.More infoThe Griswold InnPrice: Expensive• American• Essex•4.5

- LLeeGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoEach visit to Liv’s has been wonderful. Their local oysters are fantastic, fresh and delicious. Each course is nicely presented by the chefs and well paced by their experienced waiters. We enjoyed the oyster sampler and Cesar salad followed by the Moroccan Cod and Seared Tuna with Wasabi Mashed potatoes. A great destination especially in the off season to enjoy locally sourced cuisine that is curated to perfection. A superb meal and great local dining experience !More infoLiv's Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Old Saybrook•4.8
- AAmyNew Orleans / Louisiana •15 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024Outstanding dinner, waitress and ambiance! We started with a grilled octopus appetizer that was so tender and delicious. For dinner my husband had salmon and I had swordfish- both exquisitely cooked and presented - the best meal out we’ve had in years!More infoFresh SaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Old Saybrook•4.6
