Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. Overall experience was good. However, it’s not the same as it used to be. Wedge salad came with a slab of bacon as opposed to bacon bits, which I found difficult to cut up. Waiters and waitresses used to come around more often to refill wine. Just different small things that have changed that you would expect from a high-end restaurant.

I love your healthier beautiful looking food. I’ve been to both of your Massachusetts restaurants 3 times in the last 2 weeks with friends or family.also I like the fact certain items are seasonal. I do not go to restaurants that never change there menus seasonally years on end.

We had a booth in the bar area, a choice of lunch and dinner menus, and an attentive waiter. Sunday afternoon was a good choice! Food was excellent as were the cocktails, would definitely recommend.
