Best Gluten Free Restaurants in McPherson Square

The moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. Rashad’s service was amazing! He has a welcoming personality, knew the menu, and offered great suggestions. Through his recommendations we had the espresso martini, lobster, shrimp, crab stuffed tortellini, the garlic bread. Everything was amazing and we would love to the Valentine’s Day pasta on the full menu, it was all we could talk about that night. Thank you for a delicious experience!

This was my second visit to Gypsy Kitchen, and it was just as fantastic as the first! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for a night out. Our waiter, Andrew, was excellent—very helpful throughout the dinner, offering great recommendations from cocktails to dessert. We revisited some of our favorites, and they did not disappoint. The hummus is amazing (pro tip: order an extra piece of pita bread). The potato dish and pork shoulder were equally delicious, packed with great flavors. For dessert, we tried the pear tart, which had more of an apple pie texture than a traditional tart, but it was still enjoyable. I also had an Old Fashioned, which was well-made and a great way to round out the meal. Overall, a great experience once again. Highly recommend this spot for excellent food, drinks, and service!

My wife and I came into town for Valentines Day. We booked our reservation a few days in advance and we were not disappointed. The first thing we noticed was the unique decor and louder music. It made for a great ambiance and the designs of the restaurant gave it an upbeat yet stylish feel. Our server was Kaitlin and she was very kind. She attended well to us and took care of making us feel welcome. My wife had the half chicken and I had the chicken tacos. Our food was absolutely sensational , the chicken fell off the bone and was just so perfectly cooked. The desserts were great too. We enjoyed the Tres Leche the most. We highly recommend Mi Vida and Kaitlin is an excellent server and will take care of all needs.
