Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table.     What a fantastic experience. We are fans of “nose to tail” dining and love dishes made with organ meats and other elements not usually served in restaurants. Even so the cuisine here was extraordinary: Exceptionally well cooked and simply presented. And our server James was both knowledgeable and very attentive. All around a smashing dinner. When we return to London we will most definitely come back.

    Had a great dinner her with great people. We had booked a table for 2 to celebrate my birthday. Tried to make it 4, but unfortunately they didn’t have space. On the day we received a phone call that they could make it 4 if we were happy with that. The dinner was perfect! They signed a small birthday card and the dessert came with a candle. All the small touches together make this one of the best places to eat. Thanks to the whole quality chop team!
