A special birthday dinner, delicious food and cocktails and absolutely outstanding service. I also really appreciate that our request for a quieter table was acknowledged. Thank you - we will be back!

The food was very good Indian style cooking. It’s the first time We have eaten snails, outside of at a French restaurant. They were delicious !.

Great food, friendly and professional service, and a lovely, relaxed feel. We sat outside in the spring sunshine, soaking up the peace and quiet of the Common. Both diners had the burgers which were substantial and delicious, especially with the chunky hand-carved chips. For pudding, we had the creme brule and the apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard - both were presented beautifully and in exactly the right proportions - not too big nor too small. We were both driving, so unable to take advantage of the tempting wines.

Absolutely wonderful as always, the food was brilliant and everyone who served us was lovely. They also put a candle in my husbands dessert for his birthday, which I really appreciated. However, they absolutely need to do something about the toilets. In the middle of a cold, wet, winters evening it’s really unpleasant needing to go outside into the mud to go to the toilet in a shed in the garden centre. Not really appropriate for a £100 a head dining experience. The only dark spot on an otherwise lovely evening.
