Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We ordered three course pre theatre menu. The Scottish salmon with crab was an excellent appetiser. It was so fresh, tasty and refreshing. The main dish was beef, which we found so nicely prepared, and we loved the chocolate delice; the chocolate was so refined, rich and had incredibly decent flavour. We would love to come back to this place again and again.

The service was so genuine and generous that we returned for the second time very quickly. The flavours were delicious too. The deep fried spring rolls were better than those sold at the Duke of York Square. The portion sizes were good too.
