Eight of us enjoyed a tremendous feed of excellent German style produce, the giant pork knuckle especially good. A good selection of beer and wine accompanied our meal, complimented by very good service. I thoroughly recommend booking.

First time at The Lore of the Land. Blown away by the quality of food, wine and service. We had a group of 7 friends dining for lunch, had an enjoyable pre lunch drink in the bar, and then an amazing 3.5 hours of incredible lunch experience. Particular call out for our waitress, Cher, who served us for the entire 3.5 hours. Great knowledge of the dishes, good sense of humour, and really made the experience top drawer for us. Definitely going again soon.

We had an amazing lunch at Clipstone yesterday, couldn't recommend it enough! Incredible service and the tasting menu was delicious. Thanks for letting us stay for a full 4 hours to enjoy a long lunch :)
