- AAlexLos Angeles •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSplendid experience all around! Our server, Alex, was lovely. Our food was presented so beautifully. My friend and I had a lovely time dining & catching up before we went to see a show across the street. It was just such a divine experience that I am planning to take others back to San Laurel. The only problem was that my mocktail was made with alcohol. I don’t drink because I’m sober so it was very concerning that such an error occurred. That’s never happened in all my years of ordering mocktails at other fine establishments. After two sips and having my friend try it, I was convinced that there was indeed tequila added to my lime-based drink so I asked the waiter about it and he quickly whisked it away and brought me a true mocktail that tasted of citrus and definitely had no alcohol in it. That was a weird experience. The evening ended on a great note with a surprise complementary flan dessert for my friend’s birthday that included a candle and song-a very nice touch. Of special note is that the chef is actually accommodating to guests’ dietary sensitivities such as the need for gluten and dairy free ingredients. Such a breath of fresh air since other fine dining spots don’t usually like to make such modifications to their menu items. It was very much appreciated by this diner. Thank you San Laurel!More infoSan LaurelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Downtown•4.8
- JJohnNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGreat food. Excellent service. We were shown to our table promptly. Our waiter notified us of the pending delivery of fresh Dover soles which we ordered immediately and gave us perfect recommendations to pair with the wine for the rest of the courses. The food was staged perfectly. Every dish was beautiful and delicious, from appetizers to dessert.More infoRepubliquePrice: Very Expensive• French• Hollywood•4.7
