- KKathryn AnneVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA joyous experience. The other diners seemed to cherish this place, looked like they’d come before. The many people who took part in serving us were all great hosts: the food was clearly described as it arrived and questions were answered with an interested attitude. It was clear, the servers lived this restaurant and their jobs. We have brought friends here befire and will do again. It is a gem.More infoZarak by Afghan KitchenPrice: Moderate• Afghan• Mount Pleasant•4.8
- DDarlenevipVancouver / British Columbia •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis restaurant is located on the edge of Yaletown and easy to find. We walked from the Fairmont Waterfront (20 mins) and found it with ease. We were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert, which was on a Friday night, so it was good we had a reservation. I'm not too sure about the parking as we walked or would have taken an Uber. This place was bumpin (Friday night and a concert) and had a great atmosphere! We checked in and were called once our table was ready. We were seated by the friendly hostess, close to the pizza oven, which was very cool and watched them prepare and toss the pizza dough. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The menu has a variety of starters, mains and shareables. We started with a Ceasars salad (the dressing was fantastic) you could taste the freshness with a hint of anchovies. We ordered the 8oz filet with their amazing chimichurri and sided it with an order of their lobster/ crab ravioli (which was spectacular) and split everything. It was the perfect portion and not too heavy. We were happy with our restaurant choice and the food items we order. I would definitely love to come back and try more of their menu items and recommend this experience at Per Se Social Corner on Homer St, in Vancouver. - JJanetVancouver / British Columbia •16 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024The chicken fried mushrooms were not great - the dip was fantastic, but if you like dipping deep fried dough then this may be wonderful for you. The Babaganoush was fantastic but I think pita bread would be a better accompaniment than lavash - it was thin and hard. Best dish was the cauliflower. Our server was amazing!More infoHomer Street Cafe & BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Yaletown•4.7
- JJocelynToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined on 17 Nov 2024What an amazing experience at Loula’s for my best friend’s birthday! We had a big group of 10 and our experience was excellent from before we even sat down. The wonderful Sierra worked some magic to fit our big table in and then the incredible Paige took phenomenal care of us all night! The food and drinks were top notch – I already can’t wait to go back. Thank you Loula’s!More infoLoula'sPrice: Expensive• Greek• Commercial Drive•4
