We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

We had the chateaubriand for two and although the meat was not quite filet mignon. (As we thought), it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Great Mac nd cheese (not dry) and mashed potatoes. Our server, Lea, was fantastic! Definitely return and recommend!

This was my first time at the restaurant. Unfortunately, my son, 26, went out the night before with his mates and was unable to come and my sister is unwell. I was on my own but the staff made me feel so cared for. They were phenomenal as I was actually shaking sitting in my own. The staff could not have been kinder. The food, wow!!!! Very very impressed and please can you share my heartfelt thanks to the staff as I was hurting that my son didn’t come but they took the pain away. They made me feel special.🐾💖
