Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Phibsboro

We had a table (booth) just for us two which was lovely. My husband sat on the outside which he got a bit annoyed as people kept opening the door and a little draught came in. This didn’t spoil his enjoyment of the meal and service. Starters - he had beef croquettes and I had Gambas which I’d never had. 5 prawns in a chilli oil with sourdough bread. I think you are supposed to pick them up but I used my cutlery. Lovely. Mains - husband had 7oz Beef which he said was delicious and filling. I had Rotisserie Chicken with rice. I’m not mad about rice but this was delicious that I liked it more than the chicken which comes with gravy. Chicken was oh so tender and too big a portion for me to finish. Deserts - I had lemon tart, meringue and raspberry sorbet which cleaned my palate nicely. Husband had choux bun which comes with pistachio ice cream that they changed to vanilla and jug of chocolate sauce. He’s not a lover of nutty ice cream. 2 bottles of still water and 2 bottles of Malbec. Total €207 which we rounded to €220. Service was excellent. All staff smiling and well presented. I liked how the restaurant was separate from the pub. I’d definitely return.

Michelin-level plates at a reasonable price! The service is excellent and consistently outstanding over the years. Every dish was exceptional, though the dessert could use a bit of improvement—but nothing to complain about. Truly a fantastic chef and a top-notch team. Highly recommended!

Boeuf and Frites is a must-visit for steak lovers! The beef is perfectly cooked to your preference—tender, juicy, and flavorful. The fries are crisp, golden, and seasoned just right, pairing beautifully with their delicious sauces. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is attentive. Honestly Kickys has now been rated my favourite restaurant in Dublin! The food was incredible! Every dish met our expectation. The flavour the presentation everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and welcoming too!

Everything was amazing. Dishes are inventive and delicious. Service is fantastic and prices are really good. The ambience is lovely, tableware is beautiful and it’s so cool seeing the pasta being made in front of you. Only drawdown is that it was really cold! We were also the first sitting and went during the cold snap.
