Incredible Steak Salad – A Must-Try! I visited Cedar & Elm for lunch today and the steak salad blew me away! The steak was cooked to a tender, juicy medium-rare and seasoned to perfection. It was sliced thinly and layered over a bed of greens that were fresh and vibrant with a uber pleasing scent of lemon. What truly elevated the dish were the house-made vinaigrette which tied it all together beautifully, balancing the richness of the steak with a zesty fresh lemon kick. This salad is a perfect blend of indulgence and healthy eating. It was the best steak salad I have ever had so I will definitely come back to enjoy it again—highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memory maker!

For our December birthdays, my friend and I enjoyed brunch on the heated outside rooftop and it was wonderful. Lucky for us, it was a sunny day and the heaters were perfect in the 50 degree weather (not sure how it would be on rainy days). They also provide blankets if needed. Our food was delicious, especially the churros dipped in whipped cream and chocolate, the eggs with mushrooms, and the peppered bacon. Since we were headed to the Paramount Theatre for a matinee, the location was perfect - just 4 short blocks. The wonderful EXTRA touches: management reached out to us in advance to invite us to enjoy the rooftop deck and the menus printed with Happy Birthday. We loved our Terra Plata brunch and we will be back.

Our waitress was amazing and each server was very polite and attentive. I couldn’t give them a five because the bar service was not good neither the cocktail nor cocktail we tried were good. How do you not know how to make a lemon drop and how do you screw up Shirley temple….mind boggling. The owner is on to something just needs to work out a few details like bar management, signage, and restroom attendants. The restroom cleanliness did not match the aesthetic of the restaurant. Overall 4 stars. Will come back to see the spring/summer menu.
