- LLindaSouth Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our first dinner at The Firehouse and we'll be back for more,.....lots more! the food was the best of American cuisine, perfectly seasoned, ample servings, beautiful to behold, served with flare and attention to detail. and, the menu has something for everyone. The service was top notch, but not stuffy in the least. Nothing precious here. Rather, if harkens back to the heyday of white tablecloth dining, but with the updated appeal of a more casual and relaxed, though upscale, ambience and engaging service ethic. The whole place felt like a very special party at which every single person was having a great time and really enjoying themselves. We left feeling very well taken care of and pleasantly full and satisfied. .....also have to mention that there were several small details that added to the overall experience; things like a genuinely charming maitre d'hotel, an amuse -bouche, and Randy, our terrific waitperson, bringing me two complementary wine tastes to make a choice for a glass of wine to go with my duck Entree, a dollop of pate on the prime rib, and more. What a night!More infoThe Firehouse RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- DdebCalifornia Central Coast •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur server was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and provided the best service. She was understanding that we were late for a reservation. Most of all she was aware of our time constraint as we were going to a Kings game and expertly timed our drinks, starters, and main dishes. She was superb! Thank you for the excellent meal and service!More infoWillowPrice: Moderate• Italian• Sacramento•4.4
- MMarySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had quite the memorable dinner at Ella. To begin with, we ordered the fresh baked bread and butter. The bread was so very fresh, and the butter light and delicious. We also ordered the butter leaf salad with an incredible dressing. The lettuce and vegetables were so crisp and fresh, along with the incredible salad dressing...it was delightful. For an appetizer, we ordered the mushrooms with in-house made fresh ricotta cheese... another incredibly delicious symphony of flavors that melted in your mouth. Our main course was the Salmon, absolutely incredibly delicious! It was lightly grilled on the outside cooked medium.. The salmon literally melted in your mouth like a marsh mellow. By far, Ella is the very best fine dining restaurant in the Sacramento area.More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- CChrisVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •428 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEnvironment is elegant but not stuffy. Service is superior. Our server invested time early on explaining the menu in detail which was very helpful. Pace of the four course dinner was relaxed but not too slow. The food was amazing and Allora clearly deserves its stellar reputation.More infoAlloraPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Sacramento•4.9
- CChrisSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Dec 2024Stopped by for a snack before a show at the Crest. Very nice comfortable room. Our server, Kaitlin was friendly and very professional. Menu is small and well focused. We had three apps and bread service; a well spiced curry soup, their signature salad and a great carpaccio with crisps, parmesan cheese and aioli. Ended with a affogato made with a decadent vanilla bean ice cream. All were well balanced, carefully prepared and well plated. Serviceable wine list; not terribly adventurous but found a nice Bichot Chablis BTG. Solid dining option--not inexpensive, but excellent value. We will be back.More infoPrelude Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Sacramento•4.6
