La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. White Horse Tavern provides consistently good food and service in a unique atmosphere. Two of us enjoyed the swordfish, but the scallop entree was even tastier. The colonial atmosphere adds to the charm and service is excellent.

Such a great find as a way to celebrate a wonderful Christmas visit with my mom and in-laws! Our reservation was at 4:30pm which, in December, gave us an amazing view of the sunset over the water. Everything was tasty- great cocktails, the best oysters I've ever had, and entrees we all appreciated. One of the stars was my mom's dessert- sticky toffee pudding. Posh, wonderful, and a great way to impress our Texas-based family members.

When I originally booked this table, your establishment, had an extended menu, for the holiday. When I arrived , that menu was not in play. They’re running off an everyday luncheon menu for Christmas Eve (a little disappointing) Our server, Brendan, was fantastic. He was the only one turning tables, making drinks and waiting on customers. At no point did anyone feel neglected at my table. He was kind and professional..
